North-CCU-Hub consortium officially kicks off

On March 26, 2019, fifteen partners signed a declaration of intent to develop a hub for Carbon Capture and Utilisation in the region of Ghent and North Sea Port. This was the official start of the North-CCU-Hub consortium. The news was also picked up by Belgium’s economic newspaper De Tijd.

Publication of the study on the CCU potential in North Sea Port

On January 11, 6 partners (Stad Gent, POM Oost-Vlaanderen, North Sea Port, Ghent University, CAPTURE and BioBase Europe Pilot Plant) presented a study on the potential for CCU in Ghent and the North Sea Port area.
